A Non-Surgical Solution for Thinning Hair, Visible Scalp & Hair Loss
Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a non-surgical, drug-free cosmetic procedure designed to restore the appearance of fuller hair by reducing contrast between the hair and scalp. This treatment is performed gradually and discreetly, allowing results to build naturally over multiple sessions.
Also known as Hairline Restoration Tattoo or Scalp Tattoo, SMP uses an advanced technique implanting thousands of micro-impressions into the scalp to create the illusion of density. When performed correctly, the result is subtle, realistic, and virtually undetectable.
SMP is suitable for both men and women experiencing thinning hair, alopecia, visible scalp, or unnatural hair transplant results.
While SMP is a simple concept, it is an advanced technique requiring precision and strategy. Multiple sessions are required to achieve a layered, natural-looking result. Like all cosmetic tattooing, SMP is an art — not a science — and results vary based on skin type, lifestyle, and individual goals.
Most clients require 3–6 sessions, depending on the area treated and desired density.
SMP is ideal for:
Men & Women
Fixing unnatural hair transplant results
Restoring a hairline to a more youthful look
Adding density to thinning hair
Covering scars on the scalp
Sparse facial hair
SMP is a great hair loss solution because it's:
Waterproof
Non-invasive
Cost-effective
Permanent
Subtle
Discreet
Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a specialized cosmetic technique that creates the appearance of fuller hair by reducing the contrast between hair and scalp. Using medical-grade pigments and advanced application methods, thousands of tiny impressions are layered into the scalp to mimic the look of natural hair density.
You may hear SMP referred to by several names, including scalp tattoo, hair tattoo, medical hairline restoration, or hair micropigmentation. While the terminology varies, the treatment itself is the same — a non-surgical, drug-free option for addressing hair loss and visible scalp.
Although the concept of SMP is simple, the execution is highly advanced. Achieving natural-looking results requires precision, strategic placement, and a thoughtful, layered approach. For this reason, SMP is performed over multiple sessions, allowing the pigment to heal and soften between visits.
Like all cosmetic tattooing, Scalp Micropigmentation is both a technical skill and an art. Results can vary based on skin type, lifestyle, and individual response to pigment, which is why customization and conservative application are essential.

Pigment is layered carefully between existing hair to reduce the appearance of visible scalp.
Scalp Micropigmentation is a versatile treatment designed to address a wide range of hair loss concerns. Because hair loss presents differently for each person, every SMP plan is customized based on pattern, coverage needs, and desired outcome.

SMP is an effective option for women experiencing:

Pigment is carefully matched and layered to blend scars with surrounding hair and scalp tone.
At Mojo Master Beauty Rehab, Scalp Micropigmentation is never treated as a one-size-fits-all service. Each treatment plan is designed with careful consideration of your hair loss pattern, scalp condition, lifestyle, and long-term goals.
Rather than applying heavy pigment in a single session, SMP is performed gradually over multiple visits. This layered approach allows the pigment to heal and soften naturally between sessions, resulting in a more realistic and undetectable finish.
Color selection, density, and placement are adjusted conservatively to ensure the final result complements your natural hair, skin tone, and age. This approach minimizes the risk of over-saturation and allows for refinement as your scalp responds to treatment.
As a restorative tattoo specialist with a skin-first philosophy, scalp health and safety are always a priority. Every step of the process is performed with precision, patience, and respect for the skin.

SMP is performed thoughtfully, with respect for the skin and natural hair pattern.
Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is tailored to your unique pattern of hair thinning, not a one-size-fits-all coverage model. Many women experience hair thinning differently than men, often noticing subtle changes first along the hairline and temples, rather than complete areas of loss.
Because every scalp and goal is different, SMP is priced based on the scope and complexity of treatment, not a flat rate.
Typical investment ranges from:
$1,500 – $4,500
This customized approach allows us to create results that look natural, balanced, and age-appropriate, while avoiding over-saturation and ensuring long-lasting improvement.
Your exact pricing will be determined during a personalized consultation, where we assess your hair thinning pattern, scalp health, and desired outcome.
Scalp Micropigmentation for women focuses on restoring the appearance of fullness where thinning commonly occurs — especially along the hairline, temples, and part line. Treatments are customized to blend seamlessly with existing hair for natural, age-appropriate results.

What to Expect:

SMP may fade over time and you may need a touch up procedure. How often you will need a touch up on your scalp micropigmentation depends on many factors, such as direct sun exposure, immune system, skin type, genetics, ethnicity and life style. BE SURE YOU WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN!
Some clients will require touch ups every 3 years, and others may require a touch up every 5 years, and some will never need a touch up. There is no way to know, it varies from person to person.
The natural fading out of the SMP procedure is expected, and in many cases - welcome. As time marches on, your tastes will change. This allows us to revamp your hair line with one that may be more age-appropriate as time goes by.
A periodic color refresh will keep your look fresh and allow us to tweak results to match your current preferences.
