During your consultation, we’ll consider your:

💡 Pro Tip: Healed lip blush always looks about 30–40% softer than it does on treatment day. Think of it as a natural lip stain that enhances rather than masks your beauty.

To ensure a safe and beautiful result, please review these important pre-care guidelines before booking your appointment:

1. Cold Sore Prevention

If you’ve ever had a cold sore or fever blister (even once!), you’ll need to contact your doctor and ask for an antiviral medication such as Valacyclovir (Valtrex) or Acyclovir before your appointment. Please take as prescribed by your physician, but below are guidelines that may be helpful.

Begin 2 days prior to your session and continue for 3–5 days total (or as prescribed by your doctor).

This helps prevent an outbreak triggered by the tattooing process.

2. Avoid Lip Trauma & Irritants

No lip fillers or injections within 4 weeks before your appointment. Discontinue long-wear lip colors, as they are very drying.

Avoid exfoliating, peeling, or using retinol/AHA near the mouth area for 7 days prior.

Stay hydrated — healthy, plump lips hold color better.

3. Come as You Glow

Please arrive with clean lips (no makeup, balm, or lipstick). If you’re prone to dryness, gently exfoliate with a sugar scrub and moisturize daily in the week leading up to your appointment.
