LED Light Therapy (light-emitting diode) is a remarkable non-invasive skin treatment pioneered by NASA with multiple proven health benefits.

In the 1990s, NASA began studying LED’s effects in promoting wound healing in astronauts by helping cells and tissues grow.

Are there different kinds of LED light therapy?

LED light therapy uses various wavelengths that correspond to different visible colors. Each color penetrates the skin at different depths.

LED Light Treatment sessions are completely painless and are typically 20 minutes long. It is recommended to kick start your LED Light Therapy with a one month commitment of 2-3 times weekly, then moving to maintenance schedule of at least once monthly. For those looking for maximum results, treatments can be received up to 3 times per week.

Who should not have LED light therapy?

LED light therapy isn’t appropriate for everyone, including people who:

Take certain medications that increase their sensitivity to sunlight, such as isotretinoin and lithium.

Have a history of certain conditions, including skin cancer and inherited eye diseases.
