Microneedling

Microneedling, which is sometimes called COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY, is a non-surgical  treatment often used to address skin concerns like fine lines, texture issues , scarring and  stretch marks, as well as pigmentation issues.

Microneedling is also known as collagen induction therapy because it initiates a healing response in the body which triggers your natural collagen and elastin production to kick into high gear. Using a device with many very tiny needles, we  create non-visible punctures in the skin. This tricks your body into believing that there is an injury that requires healing. Your body then sends a healing response to the treatment area, producing collagen and elastin, plumping the skin from the inside out. The outcome is smoother, healthier and younger looking skin. This is also the science behind dermal rollers used at home.

At Mojo Master Beauty Rehab, our experts will assess your skin, and create a customized plan for you to address your skin concerns. At your sessions, we will incorporate powerful serums containing ingredients such as antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and lightening agents that treat a wide range of skin issues such as hyperpigmentation, acne scars, dry and irritated skin, freckles, skin spots, or enlarged pores.

Microneedling can also treat sun spots, sun damage, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, and contribute to a more even skin tone.  Light chemical peels or dermaplaning  are often combined with microneedling to maximize results.

Microneedling is typically done in a series of treatments, scheduled at 4-week intervals. Because it takes time for the body to build up collagen, it takes 3-5 sessions to see results.

The amount of time it takes to complete a Mojo Get Up & Glow Package varies. Microneedling can be done every 4-6 weeks, with chemical peels performed approximately every 2 weeks.  These periods can vary depending on the client's skin type, reactions, lifestyle and schedule. 

Please keep in my that other aesthetic services performed during our course of treatment can delay your next treatment. Barring any unusual schedule delays, the Mojo Get Up & Glow Package should take around six to eight months to complete. This allows for maximum healing between sessions and can work around your schedule. 

There is no downtime - but strict sun protection is required for duration of treatment period.

The base cost of the Mojo Get Up & Glow Package (3 Deluxe Microneedling - face / 3 Lunchtime Peels - face) = $750*.  

*Packages can be customized  by adding on additional body parts such as neck, chest, hands, or by integrating additional powerful enzymes to expedite results.  Variations in treatments may affect package price.

The 10% TCA Depigmentation Peel is mild but very effective and delivers lighteners down to the melanocyte without traumatizing the skin. The TCA Peel is buffered with azelaic, arbutin and kojic acids, which are tyrosinase inhibitors that control hyperpigmentation, melasma, or sun damage for all skin tones. The combination of these acids is a beautiful peeling treatment for evening skin tone, reducing acne, and retexturing the skin. Best for skin with hyperpigmentation, melasma, and/or acne, all skin tones.

The 20% Lactic Lightening Peel contains lactic acid, a milk-based ingredient that is great for hydrating and exfoliating the skin in a gentle manner. L-Lactic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid working as an exfoliant, which allows dead skin cells to slough off and make room for regrowth of new skin.  It improves roughness, softens skin, and improves the appearance of wrinkles. Alpha-Arbutin is from the bearberry plant; is a non-irritating skin brightener. It is a natural alternative to hydroquinone. Kojic Acid inhibits melanin production by inhibiting tyrosinase. It also provides gradual and continual skin brightening to relieve skin discolorations. The peel also includes two superb lighteners, making it effective for sun damage, pigmentation, and fine lines, but a bit more mild than the TCA peel. Good for Normal to dry or sun damaged skin with hyperpigmentation.

The 30% Glycolic Peel is an excellent cell renewal peel and is a great classic on its own. Benefits: Desquamates skin cells, exfoliates, softens, reduces keratinization, treats mild to moderate acne, minimizes pore size. Best for Normal, Oily, Acneic skin, & Dry skin.
